Jackson Hewitt® Announces Winners of Its Preferred Customer Sweepstakes
North Carolina's Doris Stone Takes Home Grand Prize Check for $25,000 Twenty-Eight Additional Winners Selected
PARSIPPANY, N.J., Aug. 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc.® today announced the winners of its "Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Preferred Customer Sweepstakes". The grand prize of $25,000 was awarded to Doris Stone of Southern Pines, North Carolina. Three first place winners were also awarded $5,000 each and 25-second place winners each took home $250.

The sweepstakes ran during this past tax season and was directed towards Jackson Hewitt Tax Service's previous year's customers. Customers were sent sweepstakes announcement cards and pre-approved certificates in the mail. Over 270,000 people entered the sweepstakes, with nearly 190,000 of those coming from returning customers who entered by bringing in their sweepstakes announcement card or pre-approved certificate when they visited their nearest Jackson Hewitt Tax Service location during the tax season.
