JACKSON HEWITT® NAMES WINNERS OF ITS JACKSON HEWITT 500 SWEEPSTAKES
Texas Resident Named Grand Prize Winner; Awarded 5 Times His 2007 Tax Refund
Four Additional Winners Receive VIP Trip to 1st NASCAR® Race of 2008
PARSIPPANY, N.J., December 13, 2007 – Jackson Hewitt Tax Service® has named Patrick Collins as the grand prize winner of the Jackson Hewitt 500 Sweepstakes. The Atlanta, Texas resident was presented a check of over $20,000 today by Douglas Foster, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer for Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc., and Roger Hooten, owner of 34 Jackson Hewitt franchises in the Northeast Texas market. The check presentation, which took place at the Jackson Hewitt Tax Service office at 402 Loop 59 in Atlanta, TX, was also attended by Mayor Keith Crow, of Atlanta, TX.
Mr. Collins’ name was randomly selected from thousands of entries in the sweepstakes. As the grand prize winner, he received a prize of five times his 2007 tax refund. Four first prize winners will each receive a VIP experience for two to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series™ Season Opening race of 2008 in February. While at the track, the winners and their guests will enjoy a private tour of the trackand have a chance to meet with superstar driver Greg Biffle, who sits behind the wheel of the Roush-Fenway No. 16 Ford Fusion. In addition, 500 second prize winners will each receive a $100 gift certificate redeemable for a NASCAR®- licensed “Fathead,” a large wall graphic of their favorite race car.

The “Jackson Hewitt 500 Sweepstakes” was open to all legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who were least 18 years old at the time of entry. This year’s contest ran from January 8, 2007 through April 17, 2007. The amount of the grand prize was five times the amount of the winner’s 2007 tax return, up to a maximum of $25,000. To enter, contestants had the option of completing an official entry form at participating Jackson Hewitt locations, at Jackson Hewitt show car or race track events held throughout the tax season, or by submitting an online entry form.
“I didn’t believe it when Mr. Hooten called to tell me that I was chosen as the grand prize winner,” said Collins. “It’s so exciting to be handed this check, especially being a Jackson Hewitt customer.”
Mr. Collins lives in Atlanta, Texas with his wife, Deneshia.
